Kapurpurawan Rock Formation

Kapurpurawan Rock Formation is a natural attraction in Burgos, Ilocos Norte, in the Philippines. It is a white limestone formation that was shaped by the forces of nature over time. It is named after the Ilocano word "puraw" which means "white". It is located on the northwestern tip of Burgos, next to the Bangui Wind Farm. It is one of the most scenic and impressive geological features in the country, and it is a popular tourist destination in the region.

To get to Kapurpurawan Rock Formation, you can take a bus from Manila or anywhere in Luzon to Laoag, then hire a tricycle or a jeepney to take you to the site. The travel time is about 1.5 hours from Laoag and the fare is around 60 pesos. You can also join a guided tour or rent a car for more convenience. The entrance fee is very minimal and grants access to the whole area. You can also enjoy other nearby attractions, such as the Cape Bojeador Lighthouse, the Paoay Lake, and the Malacanang of the North.
